The European Commission has proposed to empower customers online stores

The European Commission has proposed to empower customers online stores, reported BBC News. In particular, evrokomissary want to allow buyers to demand the return of money in the late deliveries, or if the product was damaged.

It is also proposed to increase the period during which a buyer may return to the store bought goods, up to two weeks. Currently, return products purchased online, half of EU countries can be seven days.

Also evrokomissary proposed to extend the warranty service products bought online, and to require sellers to specify the price of the goods, which includes all fees and additional costs.

According to the European Commission, currently 150 million Europeans shop online. Of these, only 30 million to make purchases in online shops throughout Europe. One of the objectives of the European Commission proposal is to increase the confidence of foreign buyers to online shopping.
