Pirates prefer "Vista" Windows XP

Pirates often steal Windows XP, not Vista, writes ComputerWorld, with reference to the words of a senior Microsoft lawyer Bonnie Maknoton (Bonnie MacNaughton). Windows XP still holds a significant market share OS.

Maknoton clarified, the pirates tend to prefer the previous version of the program, because you usually need a year or two to circumvent the new security measures and protection against copying. Thus, the pirates likely steal office package Office 2003 and Office 2007 are not new.

Microsoft has already planned a new anti-piracy initiative and the filing of the lawsuits in 49 countries around the world, from Argentina to the United States. In the United States, Microsoft has filed against the seller's 20 claims (nearly half went to California), accusing them of trafficking in pirated copies of operating systems.

Windows XP actually withdrawn from production. After 31 January, 2009, it will not be delivered to small resellers. A system will be able to offer as a "daungreyda" only large companies, in particular, Dell and HP.
